Originally from Michigan, USA, Vicki Rummler has lived in several European countries and is now based in Paris. She composed the music and lyrics to LEAPS AND BOUNDS during a wilderness artist residency at Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park (aka “the Porkies”), coming full circle to her home state.

LEAPS AND BOUNDS is woodsy, with subtle, uncluttered, sometimes humorous arrangements. Vicki Rummler accompanies herself on the piano and her acoustic folk guitar (a Martin GPC-16E), against a backdrop of authentic sounds from the Porkies.
